Lasagna

Lasagna

Description

Lasagna is made by layering cooked pasta sheets with a meat sauce (often ground beef or pork in tomato sauce), béchamel or ricotta cheese, and shredded mozzarella. The layers are built up in a baking dish, topped with Parmesan, and baked until golden and bubbling. The result is a rich, savory dish with soft pasta, flavorful sauce, and gooey cheese. Each slice holds together in warm, comforting layers that blend creamy, meaty, and slightly tangy flavors.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a pan, add tomato sauce, and season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a baking dish, layer noodles, meat sauce, ricotta (or béchamel), and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan, cover with foil, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.
  5. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!
